A neatly crafted screenplay with some engaging situations, catchy lines, well etched characters, sensitive treatment and some fine performances, all make debutant director Samuthiraikani's maiden directorial effort 'Unnai Charanadainthein' worth watching. The concept of the 'good-looking hero' seems to have undergone a drastic change and a new trend seems to be emerging. It's how well the actor suits the role and how ably he projects the demands of the character that matters.
